PROGRAMS

Kids Without Limits schedules and coordinates respite services for both level 1 and level 2 children from ages 3 - 18. Our agency will connect you with one of our qualified respite workers. All of our team members are specifically trained to provide fun and engaging experiences for the children, such as planning and leading age-appropriate activities. Respite is intended for parents/guardians to receive caregiver relief so they can have time to take care of their own personal needs, visit with friends, spend quality time with their other children/family members, etc. We offer direct billing to FSCD, as well as Fee for Service.

We require our Respite Team Members to have the following credentials:

  • First Aid & CPR Level C

  • Child Intervention Check

  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certification

  • Training from a Speech-Language Pathologist on appropriate language stimulation strategies, provided by Khan Communication Services

In-home Hourly Respite

Respite services are  provided in the comfort of your own home by our respite workers. The parent/guardian may or may not be present while the respite worker is there. Your child will have the opportunity to engage in fun activities in a family-centered environment or participate in interactive outings with their respite worker.

Community Support

Team members can accompany children out in the community, and to registered lessons, such as swimming, soccer, taekwondo, and day camps. Respite workers are trained to ensure your child's safety, active engagement, and any additional supports they may need during the recreational program.
